The North Carolina Dairy Goat Breeders Association is an organization of dairy goat owners from across North Carolina concerned with all aspects of goats in the state.

NCDGBA

• Holds regular meetings all across the state.
• Cooperates with other goat clubs in North Carolina and other states.
• Publishes a newsletter to update and inform goat owners.   
• Sponsors a yearly Spring show.
• Is instrumental in urging legislation of goats as livestock.   
• Provides an Information Booth at the State Fair and other shows.
• Keeps the USDA, farm organizations and NCSU Vet School in touch with goats.   
• Awards Outstanding Milk Production.
• Holds Auction of Dairy Goats at the Spring Show, with a portion of the proceeds going to the Youth Merit award.
• Instigates and compiles the NC Ag Extension Service Goat Survey.   
• Supports youth involvement with goats thru 4H, FFA, and ADGA
• Offers a Youth Merit Award.
